My very first childhood memory is walking home from school making up songs. And how Mom would have food hitting the table just as I walked in the door. She could hear me coming, singing my way home.
I grew up, and made myself a 20 career singing other people's songs. Today, all these years later, it's good be back singing my own songs again.
Someone described my songs as Leonard Cohen meets Warren Zevon. Personally, I dream there’s also a healthy dash of Dolly, Hank, Weill and Brecht, Ira and George.
